Weather and seasons. Psoriasis and seasons. The cold and the warm

Weather and seasons. Time and season. Psoriasis and seasons. The colder weather in autumn and winter means the heating being on which can dry out the air. With the warm weather some people believe they get better and find that moderate to sunlight helps their psoriasis.

Autumn and winter

The colder weather in autumn and winter generally means the heating being on, which can dry out the air in the rooms you spend your time in. This is why it is advisable to:

·        Use a humidifier to add moisture to the air

·         Lower the radiators at night

·        Drink plenty of water.

·        Apply moisturisers

·        Use moisturising soaps or shower gels and have lukewarm showers

Spring and summer

With the warm weather some people believe they get better and find that moderate exposure to sunlight helps their psoriasis. It’s important, however, to point out that sunburn can cause skin damage. To enjoy the sun safely we recommend:

Limit your exposure to sunlight.
Use sunscreen, applying a protective cream dermatologically tested with a minimum sun protection factor of 30.
Dry off well after swimming at the beach or in the pool and apply a moisturizer.
Wear loose clothing, comfortable and lightweight, allowing air to circulate and sweat to evaporate.

If you have not got any good results with other psoriasis products, try Psotherapy the natural remedy, successfully tested by millions of people around the world, without contraindications or side effects.
